2023 School Information

Registration for the 2023 school will remain open until mid-December. School fees are discounted for those who register prior to Sunday, November 12, 2023.

The school will begin on Saturday, December 23rd with registration and check-in at 4:00 pm and dinner at 5:30 pm followed by an introductory class. The school will conclude with lunch after the last classes on Friday, December 29th.

Important – new for 2023: after reviewing with the hotel, and in light of positive feedback on meal arrangements in 2022, it has been decided to discontinue the hotel’s catering for 2023. Meal arrangements will be similar to the Manitoulin Bible camps for lunch and dinner (self-catering). Breakfast will continue to be provided by the hotel with booked rooms.

Registration will be prioritized on a first come basis, with priority to full time students. Part time visitors are welcome space permitting. We will stop accepting new registrations as of December 17th.

Please ensure that you, and your family if applicable, are familiar with the Guidelines for the school prior to arrival.

2023 Bible School and Conference Costs

Reservation of hotel rooms should be done through the school to receive the preferred hotel rate, to ensure proper coordination, and to support inclusion of meeting rooms and other facilities provided to the Bible school by the hotel.

Contact us regarding additional occupancy options. Room types are subject to availability. Larger families that cannot be accommodated in one room will receive a 50% discount on the second room (immediate family only). If your family could be accommodated in one room, but still prefer a second room, this is still available at normal rates.

Part time visitors/attendees are welcome, however, pre-registration is requested to facilitate planning.

Day visitors are asked to pay a prorated School Fee to contribute to the running of the Bible School. Fees are payable by cash or cheque to the Registrar upon arrival. See Part Time Attendance Rates sheet above for more information.

$85.00 per single (18+) and $170.00 per family – discounted (see below)
$110.00 per single (18+) and $220.00 per family
A family is considered 1-2 parents/guardians and children under 18.
Full time students 18+ are eligible for a 50% discount on the School Fee.
Full time rates include 6 nights’ accommodation payable to hotel upon departure.
Part time rates are subject to availability.
Example:   Family with 3 adults and 1 child (ages 18 and 12), $678.00 room + $101.70 extra adult = $779.70 (payable to hotel) + School Fee = $170.00 (payable to school before Nov. 12).

Please do not send us payment for your room as you will be required to pay this to the hotel. Forms of payment acceptable to the hotel will be cash in Canadian dollars (US currency at the hotel’s exchange rate), or credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Enroute, or Discover). For cash payment, please be prepared to pay the hotel upon arrival.

SCHOOL Fee: (must accompany registration)

Early – discounted until Nov. 12th: $85 per single (18+), and $170 per family.

Late – full fee after Nov. 12th: $110 per single (18+), and $220 per family.

Full time post-secondary students (18+): 50% off above single rates

This fee helps cover the overhead of the Bible School including speaker travel, speaker accommodation, supplies, printing, etc. The balance must be subsidized through private donations. A family is considered 1-2 parents/guardians and children under 18.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend, please cancel your registration by advising us. Registrations are non-transferable. There will be no refund of the school fee if cancellation is after November 30th.
